>Launched in 2022, The Lab is dedicated to developing new forms of material literacy in order to expand and guide artistic practice and design work. The Material Lab helps forge interdisciplinary connections through making bringing together staff, students, practitioners, and researchers from across the University and beyond. The Materials Lab is a resource for the materially-minded to explore ontologies of materials and making. Hands-on research is fostered through interdisciplinary inquiry and invention.
